Chef Philippe AUBRON, having practiced nearly 20 years around the world – from Japan to Australia via the Caribbean – decided to settle down at Riquewihr.
Its gastronomic cuisine, inventive and tastefull, is largely based on the fresh products of the alsatian terroir and will satisfy the most demanding gourmet.
Housed in an old vineyard house from the early 16th century, Au Trotthus in Riquewihr offers a perfect harmony between Alsatian tradition and refined, inventive cuisine based on fresh local products.
Au Trotthus in Riquewihr immediately seduces with its warm and typically Alsatian atmosphere. The thick and old west wall is simply the citywall of 1291!
The decor is secular : large exposed beams, some dating back to the early sixteenth century, a collection of antiques collected by the owner and related to viticulture, an imposing and antique winepress that you can sit or drink a glass...
The upper room, spacious, is ideal for your group meals. Here again, a beautiful decor of beams and half-timberings allows to savor the refined cuisine of the chef in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
